I named this pattern 'My Mother's Way' because log cabin quilting was her way.  She sewed out of necessity in her early motherhood years.  Later in life, she started piecing quilt tops out of second hand fabrics.  Some neighbour friends would join her around a wooden quilting frame and hand quilt together. The quilt tops were always log cabin style.  We as kids spent many hours tracing and cutting out the pieces for her using cardboard templates and scissors.  It was her way.  It was lovely. 

This quilt is just as she would have made it.  Using scraps.  I hope you enjoy the pattern.

Available as a PDF download, this is a great beginner skill level quilt pattern that you can get to right away!  Finished size is 62" x 78".
